Welcome to what will hopefully become the Blog of my World Tour! I am starting with Australia (for a year or two) on the third of April, and frankly I am excited.
Twenty-three sleeps until my last day at work. I've been getting excited since January, because I am quitting my job and buggering off overseas with Rory, my erm... significant other.
For two months I've been banging on about how much better things will be in Australia, how much more exciting, how much better the weather will be, how much hotter the people will be.. I'm not sure if any of the above is actually true, but since I've never been outside of New Zealand (apart from two weeks in Hawaii when I was 10).. I'm quite happy to live in a little fantasy world about it.
If my last day at work was Christmas, the decorations would have been up for two months and late night shopping would have started. People would have started pillaging the choccies from their advent calendars and busy mums would have started stressing out about christmas dinner. That's how close it is.
I am SO EXCITED!
